hi, it was myself that had the nitron shock from the 1200 bandit on my "g" , only sold the shock cause i was going to sell the "g" then decided not to, the original shock is rebuildable, the original spring is a 2.25" x 8" - approx 440lb/in . i have already fitted a 475lb/in spring with the damping set for rider and pillion and it improved things considerably, plan to do a oil change on the shock this summer and will be fitting a 500lb/in spring at the same time, if its any help i run the bike with full luggage and i'me 18 stone.
