  1. HI, in my gs manual it gives tyre pressure for rear wheel at 28/ 32 psi ,the tyre then was size 4.50v-17, but now using size 130,90,17 so is the tyre pressure the same, also is it still better to use a inner tube in tubeless tyre, cheers,

  2. hi, any one been to the NEC show in the last few years, ive not been for ages but been told its not so good as it used to be due to not having many trade stands and it seams to be more about new bikes for me its more about looking around all the bits and bobs of the trade stands that makes the show worth going,

  4. hi, guys just a quick one does it really matter what brake fluid we use dot 3 or dot 4 on older bikes , we used to run with dot 3 back in the day ,

    is dot 4 just better quality, cheers kev,

  5. hi, has any one tried the rear master cylinders that you can get on amazon / Eblag  for about 20 pound that come as a complete unit hose / reservoir they look good but for the price are they any good,

  6. bring back the bike spares shops we used to have , if you lucky there was a lovely babe behind the counter in a tight white snake / motor head t shirt , better than all this getting it on line,

  7. but dont you think it was better back then , most places had a nice little motor bike accessory shop that sold most of the stuff you needed , do you see any about now that are any good,

  8. way back in 1981 i got my gs1000g  the shaft drive the dealer had them on offer as the new and last version was due out , it was only around fifteen hundred pound, happy days if only we could go back in time,

  9. HI, just sprayed my wheels and now to do the lacquer instructions on can say to rub down your items with sandpaper before you but lacquer on so has any one sprayed the lacquer on with out sanding down and how did it come out after, cheers kev,

    Cheers mate are give it a go do you remember how many washers on the tail piece bolts as can't make out fowlers website,

    Yes,tail piece drops down fine with out the light unit on, can't fit light in afterwards as you can't do up light bracket bolts, 

  12. Hi, ooh notice the mistake in my last post should have been anyone know or have any tips on how to refit tail piece on suzuki gs1000 1978 the two back bolts won't drop down through there holes due to the back of the back light, cheers kev,
