Maybe some Kent cams but I have no idea as to if it’s worth it or not.

I have the US model D-marked "124hp" cams, which are mentioned at other topic here. Worth checking if you could get them for reasonable price, I like how my otherwise stock 1135 behaves with 'em and RS36's, always ready for revs and roarrrr.

  2. Revving at stand still doesn't mean much, since then the engine needs only food (air&fuel mix) for running itself. On the road the load grows exponentially with speed due to drag/air resistance, but even at walk speed there is the weight of the bike and rider + all the moving components friction added to load = engine hungers for way more food. So first I would check if the slides are worn out and jiggle loose and/or have some wear notches, which could cause them to tackle when the air flow grows and pushes them towards engine. Second - are you sure that the jetting is correct, since it sounds like you haven't ran at dyno? Third, check the pressure hoses, I understood that they're CV carbs.

  3. Mikuni RS flat slide carbs aren't horribly expensive as new, you get rapid throttle response and some extra tunes to sounds too. And getting rid of old worn out stock carbs is always a safe bet.

EF 1135 engine is rather good for low boost "stage 1" turbo usage, since you basically only need a cylinder block spacer plate to lower compression and Dyna S (or similar) to ensure spark. I would also use APE studs for rebuild, not that expensive addition. Plus the turbosystem ofcourse :D Stock pistons are forged and some of the crank pins are welded from factory, unlike in early 1100 models. Like Arttu already mentioned, the clutch basket should be reinforced in any case.

Just had same issue , 95,96 water boiler 11 cable .

    The earlier 93,94 is 2 inch shorter , don't ask me how i know,doh

According to Suzuki spare part catalog:

34910-17E01-000 is for early 1100 water guns and also 750W (86cm was mentioned at some site, sounds short - as mentioned)
34910-24D10-000 is for late model 1100W (just ordered this one)

Thanks for the info to you both! Will post info about result after I receive the cable.
