And no frame issues...as mine is in a hardtail frame...so got more room above the carbs...but have a single top tube...so a side mount could make life much simpler...

I had read somewhere that you can tweak the spring on RS carbs, as in you can clip it round and make it a bit more 'springy'...so it snaps back better...?
The two push/pull aftermarket ones were indeed Motion Pro and Domino...so am still looking...but if I could just hook up my existing throttle...even better...but not sure how safe it would be...
I personally would not run RS carbs with just one cable. I've had them hang before and feel if it werent for the return cable, I'd have crashed.
I can't imagine adding more spring to the RS throttle than it already has. I run mine at the lowest setting (and 1 spring disconnected) and it's still quite the wrist workout.
I've been using the Motionpro kit on several bikes for years.. no issues thusfar. You just gotta "choke up" on it if you know your going to hit throttle stop.
I'd try a Domino if they werent so damned pricey
I'm building a bike right now and fitting Bandit throttle assy and MK1 cables. the cable bend on the carb end is less than ideal but it looks like it will work well enough..
FYI: MK2 cables wont work; the inners are too long so there is far too much slack for them to function

I'm a huge Hindle fan these days. Second to none in fit, weight, and performance. Your timing isnt good though, they were all over USA Eblag cheap last year ($360) but I just checked and it seems like they've all been scooped up. The only cheap GSXR Hindles I see on there now is for the 1st gen 750.

Headers look like a standard (4 into 1) Micron for a slingshot. I've no guess as to 750 or 1100

Best mod I've ever done. Easy access to cables, on the fly idle adjustment, and super cool looking
At one time you could buy them with the side shaft already installed from the factory but they stopped doing that a long time ago.
The first time you work on your carbs afterwards will blow your mind. I can remove the carbs in about 3 minutes .. without ever taking off the tank!

It's not hard. Buy the left side linkage shaft, tap out the drift pins, slide the shaft out, unbolt the bell crank and move it over to the end, re-bolt it to the end, slide the new shaft in, and tap the drift pins back in. It's childs play compared to some of the stuff I see yall doing on here. I've done it to all 4 sets I have. The only one that made me a little nervous was the brand new rack. Nothing like spending a couple weeks pay on smething then taking a hammer to it LOL

This may be a bit obvious but .. lose the mirrors... they're only good for seeing you shoulders anyways LOL Bar ends are you friends
...and make sure the rear brace is bent correctly so as not to put stress on.. and make alloy braces to replace the flimsy stockers as previously stated.
If that still doesn't work, it may be time to replace that brittle old ABS with fiberglass

Yes but you might lose an inch or 2 in length as it moves the crank farther left, away from the throttle
