Unlikely and Improbable I would add. But you never know. It’s not gonna do any harm and might help. I live in part of Spain with the more varied environmental conditions, not the costa del crime.

And it cost 30 quid.

I bought a 78’ 750 in march that had already been bastardised and messed with so I can’t make it worth any less luckily, and it also made it cheap! 

reversible alterations seem the way to go if you have all the original bits to keep. Gives you the option to return it to stock and flip it on if need be.

i am starting to pick bits up though, after pouring over build threads here and elsewhere on the wild world web for inspiration. Plenty more gs550/1000 threads that have the same basic design as ours which adds to the research.

I’m compiling a list of changes that will make it ride better hopefully. a gsx1100 swinger and torque link so far, and an oil thermostat to go with a cooler when I find the one I want! More so because of how hot it is in Spain.
