  1. Evening .. anyone know differences in slabby 750  to 1100 are on the cowling brace … trying to fit a Fiberman fairing and looks like bottom bolt holder on the brace shouldn’t be there … are there height differences in 750 and 1100 cowls ? Cheers

  2. Evening...  I have a GSXR 1100 J  on the build ...does anyone know of someone still making a headstock to nose cone bracket in ally to suit a slabby... loads available for s-rads etc... have I missed the game by 10years?I have the OE frame/brace unit that holds the headlights etc but reluctant to chop it up to fit race kit.

    thanks

  3. Evening ... I've been searching for a while now (3 months ) but is there anyone know of a 310-320 mm disc that will fit the 6 bolt pattern and the 55mm centres on a stock 1100Ef wheel ? Doesn't matter re offset as will make new calipers plates ... could have some carriers made but hoping there's something off the shelf maybe ?  Cheers tony

  4. Yep really odd ... if I put 30 mm spacers in above main spring then the flat washer then the adjuster/cap then all slack taken out of the fork leg travel.... I do remember taking some makeshift spacer tubes out when I stripped but presumed these were to stiffen the spring up ... no probs will keep a spacer in ... doesn't seem right though. The springs that were in originally are the same length as the new ones  to clarify .

  5. Evening .. just rebuilding a set of standard Ef /. EFE forks ... I can put them all together all the bits , spacers etc there but seems to be @20 mm of compression before it actually starts to compress the main spring .. I have just bought new Hagon springs ... is there any internal differences between efe and ef ? These also have the small hole on the stanchions for the presumably balance pipe between legs ... am I missing something or is that how they are ! ?
    cheers tony

  6. evening ... I have standard arm in my ET but 18" 5.5" DYMAG classics. At the moment just ok with a 160 but close to the chain even with the front  offset sprocket. No frame mods . 150 probably better choice next time for me. cheers Tony
