Do people usually use the GS1150 valves on the 1100?

I am assuming the ports are also bigger / better flowing?

Have another question. The 1100 had 27mm intake valves but what about the 1150? Were they 27,5mm?

As far as I know the exhaust valves stayed the same in the 1100 and 1150...

Hi,

Can someone tell me the acceptable valve stem diameter for the intake and exhaust valves? This should be in the workshop manual, maybe the service manual?

Should be an interval in mm with 3 decimal places.

This is for the 4 valve air cooled GSXs.

Hi,

These are made in China, along some of the worlds best and worst products. Quality control is key - every valve gets measured, material specification, etc...

Regarding stock seats - they aren't 'maxed out' from stock so you can put bigger valves with little work and get a flow improvement from an increase in valve curtain area. On top of this, some throat work and even port work will be beneficial.

There is a strong correlation between valve sizes and maximum horsepower, hence this products. Current 1000cc are coming out with 33mm valves. Valve sizes (and bore sizes) have been steadily increasing over the years.

Hopefully some of you can try them and put them to the test. Let's see if we can work out something to become a trader here.
