Few extra $$$ - yeah like double'ish! I got RS40's and some FCR41's - both work good on my big GSXR but the RS's do rattle a bit (which is oldskool init!)

Gixer1460 do you have a problems with slides in your RS carbs when you shut the throttle down ?

Busa pistons are great if going turbo and want a cheap piston option but I still prefer to get the proper shaped piston for the application - dished for turbo or raised/crowned for aspirated, Bike will fly with RS 38's but will guzzle fuel as well so be prepared

If bike will fly...its fine with me . Let him guzzle

about 8.5:1 I think, no fun without turbo

thank you. Im going to instal RS Minuni 30 and Cam motion cams.Plan was intal hayabusa pistons but looks like there is no sense. Think will instal RS, Cams and do some head works .Looks like it will be better solution ...

  4. Nice B12 bro ! Regards from Poland.

PS. Miałem pakować do GSXRa ale kupiłem  Mikuni RS i będę zakładał inne . Pozdro!

    Yes.

But you will have to give them a tweak. Spacing between the down pipes is different, so you have to pull them out.

And they sit a little low, so they need bending up under the sump. A blow torches, a car jack and some swearing on ya sorted.

There should be loads on here about doing it.

    thank you for info

Totally different carbs. The mk1 uses slingshot(not the bike)bst36ss and the mk2 uses the pain in the arse to setup, crappy bsr36ss :)

thats right . Carbs from MK2 are as you said pain in the ares. I have BST38ss from say what now!? 750 and works very well. The same speced but of course much powerfull .
