Yes it will be on the inlet side of the carbs the steel spigot sticking out, if you look at my pic its the one between the 2 spring covered fuel lines, the other 2 pipes you can see are just breathers

Spot on mate, cheers for that exactly what i needed to know, hopefully get the new build started and a test ride!

Yes mate vac pipe to back of tap then the other drain pipe from tank to atmosphere

Right mate just been to have a look and check, disconnected the three that was all tied in together, is the vac one from a steel pipe between and behind carbs two and three? This is the only one different to the others, cheers

The powerscreen tank has a twin outlet tap hence two fuel lines, then theres a suction for the fuel tap and a drain from the filler neck surround your ET tank has only one outlet and a drain by the look of it

Hi locomotion, thanks for the pic, right so my two fuel lines into a tee piece is correct then, but the three other drain/ vac are wrong as they had been all put into one tee piece, i read on here and if correct one of the three lines i have is a vac pipe any idea if thats what i should connect to the small outlet on back of the fuel tap?cheers

  4. Hope somebody can make this simple as searches are not helping, gsx1100f engine and carbs , hoses where on when bought the lump but unsure if correct so need a picture ideally of where they should go, also looking at bottom of efe tank got two outlets on tap plus long line from opposite side near fuel sender, presume just a breather to drop down bottom of frame but as usual could be very wrong! Il try put couple of pics up but hard to tell, so got two hoses into a tee one hose off then three hoses from carb all into one tee ?IMAG0012.thumb.jpg.d78edbf4d443259d60580a15f36b5c0a.jpg

Try dousing behind the rubbers with WD40. That usually dissolves most adhesives.

Cheers swiss toni, yeah that would be my plan, just old rubber trying to get something to then re-stick aswell, tend to find it will have miss shaped aswell!

The screw covers are still available new, I picked a set up about 2 weeks ago :)

Aaaaaaaaaaaand!!!  Where you get them from then mate? If by some miracle i csn get the pads off intact and re-fitted once tanks painted might get away with just the screw covers!

You'll be lucky! Or...there might be some behind Cockney Ricks pile of rocking horse shit! :D

Haha yeah obviously thought that but had to be worth asking! Guess il have to try peel em off, not looking forward to that!

  9. Hey all, wondered if anyone knows where i can get new or decent tank rubber/pads plus the little screw rubbers, my tanks needing painting due to rust bubbles quite a few under the tank pads but looks like ones on it have been glued in parts! Plus the screw covers are naffed or missing!

  13. Hi all, ive a gsx1100f motor in efe frame, i want to make/fit an oil catch tank thing is bresther cover on top of the motor exits on the left of the engine which makes it s pain for routing braided hose so Wondered if anybody knows for sure if i can just turn it round along with gasket, seems like two separate parts under the cover so dont want to risk turning without knowing for sure!

Depending on carb size, something from another bike should fit. But if one of them broke, you might want to replace all of them before the rest fail. As far as I know, Suzuki is still making the intake boots for now. You might be able to find a used set on that site, though you'll want new gaskets for them.

Yeah turns out same carb size doesnt fit, thats the problem, just been to bike breakers where dad retired from! Everything gsf bandit etc same suze different inside lips!

  16. Hi all, ive just noticed no1 intake manifold rubber broken, thats looking from behind the engine from the left, i fitted bandit 600 ones after many hours realised the lips inside where spaced different not allowing carbs to clip in, so i either need one rubber or a set that will fit any body found similiar fit easier/cheaper to come by?
