Im confusedo.O is the stanchion in or out???:|

Stanchion is out. O/s diam on stanchion bush is bigger than inner diam on bush on fork lower. When you separate the fork, stanchion bush pulls other bush out. To rebuild, stanchion with new bush goes in first. Then, youve gotta put other bush in. Its impossible.

  3. My bandit 12 front brakes have been spongy for some time. Ive bled them a few times. Ok for a few mins then back to being spongy.

Today, I fitted a master cylinder repair kit. Bled the system fully.

Still spongy as fuck. Whats going on ?

  4. Ive just got round to balancing the carbs on my stock b12 as it was spluttering when pulling away. They were a tad out. Got them bang on now. But when the motor is warmed up, on tick over its very lumpy. Kinda firing on 3. Motor is standard and only done 39,000 miles and so is airbox. Any ideas ?

  5. Riding my stock bandit 12 is good. In a straight line, its reet, unless you go over white lines when overtaking or filtering. Feels like the frame is hinged. On left handers, it wants to drop in fast, I have to push left hand bar forward. On right handers, I have to push the right handle bar forward or itll just drop in. There was a 190/50 on the rear. Ive put a standard 180/55 on it. It feels better but still bloody weird. Any ideas ??????

  7. Looking at it, its been missing for quite some time. I only noticed yesterday because ive got new chain and sprockets to fit to the bike. The back of the clutch slave cylinder is quite worn but still usable.

  8. Just got new chain and sprocket for bandit 12.Took front sprocket cover off to find no nut or tab washer on shaft.

Ffs, need it desperately as at work doing a five day shift tomorrow. I aint gonna lose five days pay because of a missing nut.
