  1. hello guys, im having troubles to find a dynojet stage 3 kit for the original carbs of a second gen teapot 750.

I have dual K&N pods and an open exhaust on the bike. I've welded a lambda sensor in my exhaust so i can sea the AFR. He's quite lean on the throttle. Idle is good.

It looks like dynojet doesn't make stage 3's for the teapot carbs, or does anyone have an address maybe?

    Thanks in advance, Robin

  2. Also there are according to the electrical scheme 2 wires with 5 volts on in going to the neutral switch. But the manual doesn' t refer to them. So i don't know what they are for,

    thanks

  3. Hello guys,

i'm having some difficulties with my teapot. I have no spark.

ground 12 volt, coils 12v, 1 volt ac from crankshaftsensor, and ignitor is sending out 5 volt to tps. But no spark. I feel like im missing something obvious. I've allready put another cdi on it wich didn't help.

    Can someone relate?

    thanks

  4. hello guys,

how do you get more power out of a second gen teapot long stroke engine?

It already has an open exhaust and dual K&N filters.

Does cams from a certain model gsxr fit these engines?

    And maybe some other carbs?

fitting an 1100 is not an option

    Cheers

    What carbs are you running?

If same then it should be pretty close if using factory pro 125- 127 mains Mikuni

Dynojet have their own jets, do a search  Dynojet to Mikuni jet comparison if your going Dynojet.

someone else here might have your exact setup.

I have the original gsxf cv carbs, thanks for the info

    Not a teapot but 85 750 with 36mm CV's dual K&N and open exhaust.

factory pro kit 3.0 config comes with needles, jets, mains.

factory pro use's Mikuni jets ,came with 122.5 and 125.

Thanks for the reply butt will it be similar with my setup you think? I know i have to see what the dyno and external lamba says but just to get an idea

  7. Whats the disadvantage of putting the engine on the original frame engine mounts? I did it this way and still had to extend the exhaust

Thats good if you want the engine mounted forward in the frame, but to keep the drive sprocket as close to the swing arm pivot point, mount the engine into the frame using the engine rear lower mounts then level the engine in the frame, before making the front mounts. it means making exhaust header extenders.

  8. Hi guys,

i have a second gen teapot 750 engine bone stock except it has an open exhaust and dual K&N's.

i will dyno him soon but what do i need to tweak the carbs?

it will need bigger jets i suppose but do i need other needles aswell?

i have no experience with dynojet kits,

    grtz

  10. hey there, i want to put a gsxf750 engine in my 750 ET.

Is there any difference between an old gsxf engine and the newer ones?

There different in power i've read, but will the newer ones also fit in the ET frame?

    thanks

  11.

I've recently bought a GSX1100et engine to fit in my 750et frame

But will the exhaust from a 750 fitt on the 1100 engine? I have also an 1100gsxr 90  exhaust if this might fit

and fitting the engine is without any changes to the frame i thought

    correct me if wrong
