Rene EFE
I know the connectors are different, but besides that, can they be swapped? Quote Link to comment

Gixer1460
Don't the Blandit ones need the 'secret sauce' resistor in the wiring somewhere to function correctly? Quote Link to comment
Rene EFE
I was wondering that. Quote Link to comment
fatblokeonbandit
you need the bandit ignition switch which has the resistor in the base.. or swop the loom and cdi and switch then no wire cutting Quote Link to comment
Rene EFE
I have a Bandit coming my way with a suspected fried CDI, hence the question Quote Link to comment
davecara
I’ve got a mk2 bandit cdi on the 1052 in my EFE, just needs the secret resistor sticking in the right place and one of the VR sensors left unplugged. i can’t see why any oil cooled cdi would work with any oil cooled engine Edited September 23, 2018 by davecara Quote Link to comment

Rene EFE
Just went for a run on it and changed the CDI to a known good one half way; no improvement. Did a few tests and I suspect something wrong with the fuellines or the tap. Quote Link to comment
