ShadyPerm Posted July 21, 2018 Share Posted July 21, 2018 Hi all,, A mate of mine is having abit of a crisis!! He has taken some rear indicators off his EFE and basically lost all power to the bike?? He has tried it with the indicators back on the bike and still no joy,,, And yes the kill switch was on YJ said it will be the 30a fuse but cannot seem to find one? All there seems to be is your normal bank of 10 & 15 amp fuses,, and he seems to have a 5a inline fuse?? Please can anyone shed any light on this? Appreciate it guys Quote Link to comment
wraith Posted July 21, 2018 Share Posted July 21, 2018 When you say no power is that when you turn the key there is nothing, no lights, no oil/neutral light etc? If so ever the main fuse in the fuse box or the red wire that goes from the battery to the fuse box. The main fuse should be a 15amp (blue) fuse, but you do find people put 30amp (green) in there instead Hope this helps. Quote Link to comment

The wiring isn't standard and it's really hard to diagnose a problem over the interweb without the bike in front of you... Needs someone with a probe 12v test light and it would take about 10 mins to sort. If that inline fuse is feeding a bank of bigger fuses that draw more than 5amps combined ...it will pop Quote Link to comment
