BST36 mikuni float needles and seats

anyone know the cheapest place to get genuine ones of these? im fed up of intermittent leaking from my carbs even though ive cleaned the tank and replaced the filter so i can only assume ive got an intermittent seating issue as the float height cant have moved.

I would give Robinson's foundry a try, they don't have 36's on microfiche but if you ring them they should have them. Might not be the cheapest but I've always found them spot on to deal with

I've used Allen's performance recently for new genuine mikuni needles, pretty good and cheap

Refurbished my carbs with a set from NRP. All seems good.

All sorted now, just under 100 notes to allens Performance and ive had no leaking issues since.

I also had leaking problems with cheaper CARBURETOR REPAIR SET . I have tested each  the needle valve and found them to be fine, so the only other option was the O-ring supplied in the set. Apparently the O-ring supplied is 1.5mm diameter so I replaced it with viton 1.9mm diameter and its good now.

I hope you are bench testing your carbs. Ive used all the above and ended up going OEM for the needle floats...all others were scrap very quickly.

Original mikuni ordered from USA to save cash OR some say Wemoto are decent - they are made in Japan apparently.  The others I bought were made in a toy shop as far as i could tell...
