Got round to fitting its new battery today, thought I'd better give the charging circuit a going over. Didn't want to kill the new battery. Glad I did, bloody alternator was kicking out 15.5v..feck, arse, bollocks!

Thankfully some kind person wrote a nice article on how to remedy this http://oldskoolsuzuki.info/archives/400

Dig out the trusty soldering iron time! Wee bit later jobs a good 'un and now charging at a steady 14.5v.

Bit of an update. New shock on, forks rebuilt by Maxton, new cartridges. What a difference. Very sweet on road.

Rebuilt the rear suspension lever, new bearings as the grease has the consistency of crunchy peanut butter.

Me being me, gave it a bit of a buffing.

Totally blew my savings on new wheels. Bit less bling. Makes the bike look bit

Thanks @AllspeedsI wasn't sure if I'd like it will black wheels after the polished one. But it gives it a presence. Oh what a difference on the road, feels like a 600.

Yah I’m interested to see how much lighter the bike feels with the OZ wheels in compared to the heavy slingy wheels in

Have you had it on a dyno Wee Man?

id be interested to hear what sort of power its pushing out?

Had it dyno'd couple of weeks ago to find out why it wasn't as powerful as expected.

Few things had to be sorted. But short story 239bhp and 156lb ft of torque.
