Antman
Hi all My Clutch is starting to sound quite noisey when not engaged. So looking at doing a rebuild I've done loads of Clutch's on 2 strokes very simple but never a four stroke. Any pointers what I should be looking for that might be creating the noise. cheers Ant Quote Link to comment
suzook12
Just the same set up as 2 strokes mate, just bigger!! Remove the alternator first before reinstalling clutch, take care to align the oil pump gear, once its all back in, refit the alternator. Far easier to do it this way than trying to align oil pump and alt at same time, saves replacing the drive gears on the back as they do break.... 1 Quote Link to comment

Antman
How does that affect Clutch noise? cheers Quote Link to comment
Fazz711
Unbalanced carbs cause uneven pulses and that rattles the clutch. 1 Quote Link to comment
