Built a couple of bikes using savage frames. I put bracing in around headstock but more for somewhere to mount coils than strength. Nothing wrong with swingarm mounts. They arent going yo move, strength is there is across the frane through swingarm.

Aparantly there building there own race bike based on this frame. Do you not think it's up to the job?

Personally I think they look awfull structurally. I know they aren't expensive and people have built some good looking bikes based on them, which function adequately.

But they wouldn't be on my list to base a build around.

If I was building a propper race bike I wouldnt want to use one without a fair bit of bracing.

But for what they are, and how they are mainly used they are great, did a track day on mine and it worked well enough in much the same way a bandit does.
