I know what you mean. If only I had the time .................or cash !

It does take a bit of time but can be done reasonably cheap especially if you compare tuning costs to naturally aspirated.

Wheel is at the tyre shop so hopefully get that back tomorrow.

The moto gadget mirrors weren't very good for seeing stuff because they bumped into the bar end weighs. So made some little spacors up to move them further forward then they can be lowered so I can see round my lanky elbows :D. First one's I made looked a bit small so knocked some fatter ones up. Worked a treat :banana:IMG_20220621_165502.thumb.jpg.aae388d7ddc6033a426374280e6d9b6e.jpg IMG_20220621_164847.thumb.jpg.4136762d9452c8f95ef5867e932c3548.jpg IMG_20220621_165139.thumb.jpg.8d0b3db0ddbe9969b9de0dcfd11a4e53.jpg IMG_20220621_165217.thumb.jpg.6ea0626ea82b9e0463a4aa915c557136.jpg IMG_20220621_170110.thumb.jpg.3ba99c42a38697cb343f7988aa31f284.jpg

Mitchelin Road5 190x50x17 fitted, (cut down cush drive seems to be coping alright) so of I went to scrub it in. Stopped at the NY500 on my way home but when I left the gear linkage fell of in second gear while I was on the back wheel. Road home the 3 miles in second, fitted a new bolt with lots of thread lock :DIMG_20220623_143156.thumb.jpg.bff45a573751a95b43ed5f38131f3c1d.jpg IMG_20220623_143129.thumb.jpg.55e2472dcb9145aecfd7f6cf5b7e1fd1.jpg IMG_20220623_192135.thumb.jpg.b30b8e756c837abf0da628df3ec828fa.jpg IMG_20220623_193119.thumb.jpg.0300d5386cee6644aeca7c8787f43035.jpg IMG_20220623_172201.thumb.jpg.3682e6cd6fdb316aba1537ea826ebdf6.jpg

How do you find them tyres?

Have used bt016 for awhile but find they white line and pickup all the ruts in the road.

I ordered it from my local tyre dealer and they had it the next day. Ian Brown Tyres in Malton.

I love the road5's been running them on my other turbo bike for nearly 2 years now.

I have road5 on my gsx6/11f and experience them less soft and less sportive than the bt016pro on my gsx750f and gsx1100f.

Turbo bike + my riding style eats sports tyres for fun. Road 5's been a sports touring tyre last a bit longer and are good in the wet as well.

Starting to put some miles in on this now, been to Whitby bike night tonight. Bike is overall good but a few little niggles that are annoying me bit of a miss between 4 & 5 thousand revs, suspension could be better as it's a little stiff front and back for my local roads. Makes me grin a lot though :DIMG_20220630_185149.thumb.jpg.01be129b971db1e83544b3ac806d284d.jpg IMG_20220630_181414.thumb.jpg.00d713c8c818832aad748e0b24fe6c0d.jpg IMG_20220630_175358.thumb.jpg.111d1c66c9ebffab7ca50e99646d1d6b.jpg

Carbs, so I lifted the needles 1 notch which made the stumble worse so I then I dropped them 2 notches which was better but the problem still remains. Also tried different plugs to no avail so am thinking there must be some shit in one of the carbs. Found a way of quickly getting to the carb tops :D. A mate then texted me to say there was another Harris the NY500 so went for a looks see. Was a lovely Harris F1 but  K so no pictures. IMG_20220704_170020.thumb.jpg.2ce6259e790b376328ef9fd4a1bd9136.jpg IMG_20220704_190350.thumb.jpg.103ea1c3609df40aa70eb4c2721a9413.jpg
