Maybe that's what happened but when I fitted new battery it did the same I then took the case off inspected the starter clutch sprang setup all seems to be alright refitted it and it works works Quote

clivegto Posted June 10 Author Posted June 10 Turns out stater clutch was a little damaged I got Brian at Centurion Motorcycle Projects to fit one of his 20 pin conversions to the flywheel. Might be of interest @Hoops 1 Quote

Might be of interest @Hoops Including a perfect example of Suzuki,s error fitting the dowel on the EF its to short and works it way into the hole over time i always drop a ball-bearing in the hole Brian's conversion eliminates it any-way Quote

Might be of interest @Hoops I was just looking at the centurion starter clutch’s yesterday, never heard of them before, but popped up on google after doing a starter clutch search, I only slightly improved the starter clutch on my gs1000 by fitting new rollers and springs , looks like this could be the solution, think I’ll be going this route too 1 Quote
