Bandit GSF1200 Swingarm to a 1978 GS1000

Hello, I have recently found my grandfather's original 1978 GS1000 and wanting to resurrect it. Im currently in the process of changing the suspension (Front is a 2007 GSXR600) and (Rear is a 2005 GSF Bandit 1200). To fit the rear swingarm, i have to cut the bars where the passenger pegs are, which is fine however I cant find a set of rearsets since it'll need modification along with bushings (top hat spacers) to fit the swingarm. I've heard this was a very popular swap, so any info would be amazing. Thank you in advanced!!!

I wanted to go with a different style, heard bandits are usually popular and like the style and look. If I can find the top hat spacers that would be awsome.....dont mine welding shock tabs

I went the other way as you have to get the top hat spacers made,  I used an aluminium tube that fits in the bandit swingarm and fits the GS/GSX spindle. then use thick washers to take up the gap as the bandit arm is not as wide as the GS. done this a few times now and not had an issue.
