Some potentially stoopid Questions about Inazuma 750

Hope you folx can help? -Really like my bike, size and weight, even looks, still deciding on paint job, but there's always improvements.

Q.1 Wondering if anybody has/encountered/tried/succeeded to fit Inazuma 1200 Clutch Master + slave with cover to a zuma 750?

Q.2 Like standard wheel, Kat Muddy and Brakes and the hidden fork brace on the 750 -forks, bit soft.

Have Mk1 GSF 1200 forks, Showa. Anybody swopped in 1200 tubes and kept Zuma legs on a project, or done it outta sheer curiosity?

Nice (y)

As to Q1 a lot of people have done the cable conversion to the 1100/1200 so won't be a problem the other way round, think the only fiddly bit is the clutch push rod length as the 600/750 oil cooled engines have a longer push rod if I remember right, but it's just a M6 round bar so easy to make different sizes.

Can't help with Q2

my thinking too, but was unsure if the slave lined up with the end of the pushrod, hoped/guessed it likely would...as you say make a bit of rod fit easy enough! Think that's a goer -certainly worth trying this winter. thx mate

As regards q2, if it's just feeling under damped  maybe a fork oil change and a bit of fine tuning with oil weights would help the issue . You can mix different weight oils of the same brand , eg 50/50 5w+10w to create 7.5w, or 10w+15w for 12.5w  as well as playing with the air gap and preload spacers for not a lot of money.....

It's quite heavily plunging at the front on these Welsh roads, 1 oil seal has blown -possibly get too enthusiast at times with the gameplay, I'm 17st myself so got to count that into the mix!

Did find and message a chap who did it in 2014! He said worked fine for years...I've got a set of Bandito 1200 forks...

Trouble is that it's more than soft, actively dives a fair bit. One of the seals has been leaking besides, but was quite 'grabby' today -feels like better springs required.

I put progressive fork spring in, it will help a lot

I put a set in my gsx1100 et (that's got a b12 front end and engine) and it completely changed the bike.

But I'm 15st and need to change the oil to a lighter one as they are a bit hard for my wight, so might be worth spending the money
