badger Posted October 1, 2025 Posted October 1, 2025 So, after a ton of fannying about fuckery I just can't get my hel 19mm MC to move enough fluid. After playing about with other people's levers (calm down) with a stock set up which just work fine. I've read that bimotas sleeved down the slave cylinders to use brembo m/c's (can't find any sizes/ ratios) which is what I'm looking at doing so I can keep the matching hel set up and not have a creeping clutch. Has anyone done this? If so how did you do it? I've seen PTFE brake sealents which I'll probably use as its brake fluid resistant. Quote
SiBag Posted October 1, 2025 Posted October 1, 2025 I would wip the slave cylinder off my SB6 and take some pictures. But it would require me dropping the engine out the frame. 1 Quote

SiBag Posted October 1, 2025 Posted October 1, 2025 (edited) I found this on the Bimota forum, but no dimensions. "The housing was bored out and a sleeve fitted to suit a smaller piston and seal." With a bit more digging it looks like the new piston it 28.5mm dia. Edited October 1, 2025 by SiBag 1 Quote
bluedog59 Posted October 1, 2025 Posted October 1, 2025 A lot of work just to use the wrong size M/cylinder. Must have got a job lot cheap when money was tight. 1 Quote
