clivegto Posted September 26, 2025 Posted September 26, 2025 Picked this rather lovely Harris F1 frame, swinging arm, tank, Ohlins Shock and a few other bits up today. It did have a big K motor in but that will be changed. Was built in 2011 and collected in 2012 by previous the owner so it's got the bigger swinging arm to fit 180 tyre 15 Quote
R1guy Posted September 26, 2025 Posted September 26, 2025 (edited) Oh for fuck sake! Im extremely envious. Ive never seen a turbo F1 before, so FairPlay ( or one with a side stand for that matter) Edited September 26, 2025 by R1guy 1 Quote
RUPE Posted September 26, 2025 Posted September 26, 2025 Bloody hell Clive I’ve been reading up on your projects but I’ve lost count how many special frame bikes you’ve got, I’ve got an early Harris but wrong engine for this site but it does have Suzuki running gear, any way my eyes are watching what you do with this one 1 Quote

Dezza Posted September 27, 2025 Posted September 27, 2025 (edited) I rode a Harris F1 in 1990 (it definitely had a sidestand similar to the ones in the pics above). A mate up the road from where I lived at the time had one, with a GPZ1100 engine. It had GSXR1100L running gear. I remember it was 'tall' but rode well. After riding my Magnum 2 EFE (Dymag wheels, Spondon brakes, WP shock) he immediately wanted engine, suspension, brake and wheel upgrades for his bike. Edited September 27, 2025 by Dezza 1 Quote

clivegto Posted September 29, 2025 Author Posted September 29, 2025 Yokes in the mockup are Harris adjustable Superbike one's and the forks are gsxr1000k5 with Ohlins internals, should fit with the right bearings, lock stops should be somewhere close 6 Quote

Dezza Posted September 30, 2025 Posted September 30, 2025 Are they those aftermarket OZ wheels that look a bit like really butch LC wheels? Or OEM wheels from something else? Quote
