2002 GSF1200s Originally I thought my clutch was slipping. it was weird the fact that I could go for a ride it would start slipping. I could let it cool off and then hop back on it the next day and it’d be good, but then it would turn right around and start slipping again. Then I read the master cylinder going out can cause loss of power clutch, slipping all the symptoms I was experiencing so I popped the front sprocket cover off and what a shit show I had found. The bolt holding the speedo sensor on was finger tight. Two of the ears are broke off the main nut holding the sprocket on was finger tight and I’m guessing the sprocket started walking off shaft and started making the chain start grinding into the back plate of the slave cylinder, on top of that somewhere amongst all the fun the push rod broken half so I took a Phillips head screwdriver with the same diameter rod and cut it to 80mm and install it. I bought rebuild kit for the slave cylinder installed it on the slab on her side and mess with the side. I’m just a loss as to why it’s not going back together even with the shitty condition it was in before at least the clutch was working now I can’t even get it to cycle through the gears. sorry for rambling just wanted to give y’all the lowdown and maybe somebody can help me out cause I’m ready to set the son of a bitch on Marketplace and find something else…lol not really …kinda
