Gs1000g bottom end compatible

Does anyone happen to know if a gs1100g bottom end case will fit gs1000g parts? Got a hole in my bottom case half and having problems sourcing one

i know you can swap the top end between each other,  don't use the GK cases , they are rubber mounted.

Whilst maybe not as critical as when using a shell bearing crank, roller bearing crank and gearboxes are also line bored as matching pairs so potential for misalignment is a possibility !

How's the end reduction mounted?

If that's mounted without rubbers you need a rubber mounting on the crankcases.

If the end reduction is monted in rubbers you should be right.

 

Either one, or the other should be rubber mounted, as far as I know.
