Quicker action throttle

Anyone any ideas for a quicker action push and pull throttle for Carl's et with rs flatslides?  Would make the launches less of a handful!

you can buy them for a lot of models, or you can cut a piece of conduit and clip it around the throttle boss between the cables.

I use these on my bikes

Yes they are Chinese but they work very well, they are cheap (y)

Had one on the kat for the last 7 years and the one on the et for the last 3-4 years.

Two down sides, the anodised fads, but don't they all.

And as they are not a big expenses brand name, no bragging rights at the put/cafe car park xD

Are you using a 2 step ? as that makes life so much easier

I also used the same one they use for Lectrons but only to get a lighter action "on a road bike"

Its a Motocross one similar / like the one above ..just make sure the slides are nice and free

motocross throttles are under a quarter turn from shut to open, but not for push pull throttles.

I used a MX 1/4 turn on the Purple Big CC kat whilst I had that - single pull cable with a roller quadrant so cable exit was parallel with bars - neater routing. Never had any problems closing throttle whilst just using RS flattie spring tension. Also had two step fitted, bit of an animal without bars!
