GS550 rear brake hose

Hi all, I’d be grateful for advice about the options for renewing GS550 rear brake hose(s) please, replacements for the 2 rubber sections (items 1 & 2) don’t appear to be available?

Just replace the whole thing from MC to caliper with some braided steel line.

Just get a hose made by Hel, Goodridge, Venhill etc, straight from master cylinder to caliper.

Thanks guys, does that require mods to the clamp (4) on the swing arm?

No.

In my experience a braided hose will fit the clamp.

Slide the rubber grommets over the hose before you fit it, and retain the hose guides.
