Swiss Toni
Anyone know the specs for the above, or are they generic? Edited January 13 by Swiss Toni Quote Link to comment
wraith
I believe they are all the same for all the air cooled bikes, Two main one for battery and one for starter and one wire yellow/green for the starter button and black/white earth. Last one I got was off the bay, it was one of the cheep Chinese ones cost me £10 3 years ago and it's still working I've even used the kawi ones before but they don't have the earth wire, if I remember right. 1 Quote Link to comment
Dezza
Pic???? Efe starter solenoid is the same as oil-cooled GSXR so there may be variation among air-cooled models. Saying that, Wraith is right in saying generic replacements are fine. I use pattern units for both my bikes. The same unit is used on multiple Suzukis from the 80s (dunno about earlier bikes though). I found the same unit as advertised for a GS125 was cheaper than if advertised for e.g. 1100 slabby 2 Quote Link to comment
yantosh
i'm fitting this generic one just now, two red wires activate the solenoid, the blue and green are fused 12v 1 Quote Link to comment
