dynodave Posted November 27, 2022 Share Posted November 27, 2022 I’ve just taken the clutch apart on my 1100 katana to free off the plates and I have found that that the outer clutch drum has a lot of play in it and also has some marks around it at the front. Is this normal? The inner basket has no movement at all btw? Quote Link to comment
rodneya Posted November 27, 2022 Share Posted November 27, 2022 The original baskets start to rattle after time. You can get a kit with new springs. rivets and HD backing plate to fix it. By marks on the front, all the baskets I have, have pretty rough machine work on the outside. Maybe post a pic. Quote Link to comment
HUM Posted November 28, 2022 Share Posted November 28, 2022 Hi see here the version which works... grind off the 3 rivets, disassemble, look for springs that fit and have the power, install them and weld the rivets clean again ..
