So my 1150 is running on 3 pots 4 cold as ice did initially think it was a cap as it was arcing out like Blackpool illuminations, cap changed,no difference coil changed same result,Coils swapped over still pot 4 and cap still arcing 

I'm now leaning towards the pickup being the issue but i thought i might harvest some knowledge from the forum just in case i can't see for looking

Is it sparking ?

New plug ?

Otherwise check the carb

Yes sparking, new plugs and changed in case it was faulty stripped carbs they are clean

Surely if it was a coil or pick up would only be running on 2 as 1&4 run off same coil & pick up, so check leads otherwise prob a carb Prob

So it was  3 things 

Plug cap gone bad one of the wires from the pick up had a nic  in it and was occasionally arcing out and I've got a bad carb!! Blocked somewhere, but can't find it at the moment
