Gasket sealant or not?

I'm replacing the head gasket on my EFE with a fibre one. I have the factory manual but it doesn't mention their usage. I think they had MLS gaskets anyways. So my question is should I use a sealing compound with the fibre gasket or not?

Ive never used a fibre gasket, but just like MLS gaskets Ive always been told install clean and dry.

I use a thin smear of silicon/RTV/sealingcom on both mating surfaces where contact to oil occurs. So only at the oil bores (outer studs) and surrounding the cam chain tunnel. This approach also worked for me on using copper head gaskets. I have no experience with MLS gaskets though.

Head gaskets go on dry.

If you're worried about sealing, spend that energy lapping the sealing surfaces.

copper coat your MLS both sides let dry install done

they can be reused if intact when taken apart

Thanks all. I phoned the guy at Suzuki Performance Spares, as it arrived today and he said dry too.
