Will a UK 1986 GSXR 1100 instrument cluster fit in the bracket for a Japanese 1985 GSXR750

As the title requests, can I bolt a 1986 GSXR1100 speedo/tack instrument cluster into a Jap. import 1985 GSXR750 speedo/tack/fuel gauge mount or do I need to modify the 1985 mount to make it fit. Interested in any and all your comments..............thanks boys!

As far as i can remember the 85 mount has an extra bracket on right for fuel gauge but apart from that same as later mounts so shouldn't be too much trouble
