Sorry if this subject has already been covered but I’m looking for this 1978 GS1000c colour.. the Suzuki chart says it’s either Florida blue (which is too dark) or Ultra blue.. but I’ve heard it referred to as ice blue and silver blue too.. has anyone else used it...? My kinda blue The blue is for a basket case I have in storage, it’s an early 1978 U.K. bike which I’ll probably be building up next winter.. the fluted bodywork is all red at present but I never liked red, so I’m thinking it’ll either go classic skunk black or this sexy sharksfin blue.. photo is of my current ride.. a ‘79-E (wearing the C tank) also current project is an SN resto mod, I’m just working on a 1085cc upgrade.. hope to get that back in the frame before the end of this month.. Yes it was a gem of a find.. all stock parts included, so I’ll be using it as a donor bike for rebuilding my ‘S’ when I get round to it..
