Big bandit rear disc dragbike acu rules

Hi , looks like the rules mean I need a 250mm rear disc on my Katana Drag bike , it has a bandit 12 rear wheel . Got til next season but any ideas?

Will mean a wheel swap, but the cbr1000 gen1 has a very big rear disc.

The dose have a 20mm spindle.

Its almost forcing dual front disc's on riders by stealth!

For info, a 2008 on Busa has a 260mm disc that may fit even if holes require re-drilling?

I am curious to know why the rule has been changed. What was the previous minimum disc size and why has it been increased? Why 250mm and not some other size?

This obviously presents a problem beyond simply bolting on a bigger disc because even if these are available the caliper carrier and perhaps even the torque arm if used will have to be modified or changed too. So there needs to be a really good reason for the rule change.

the rule was already there , just being enforced more vigorously from 2022!
