Oil cooler on fork

Akira

Recommended Posts

Hey lads,

I'm building a Suzuki GS1100 '83 with a 1100F engine. I want to mount the cooler on the front fork but can't find many pictures or tips and tricks about the subject.

Have some of you done this, do you have some pictures, tips and tricks?

Thanks guys!

Are you wanting to have a headlight or not?

If not, it's easy. Make brackets from the top and bottom yokes (I used the pitch bolts on the yokes).

The nice thing these days if you want headlight, you can get nice small custom headlights, to sit ever side or top or bottom of the cooler.

I fixed myn to the forks, there's only 10mm movement with the oil lines which is nowt when you start to think about a JCB back arm.

I just love the bug eyes on that Clive!!
