Well it didn’t wait long I fully stripped for vapour blasting prior to the motor being rebuilt. Best tip I can give anyone doing this on any motor? Bag all the parts from different parts of motor and label, take loads of photos on your mobile showing all the fiddly bits and buy a genuine manual. ( or download one)

there’s always one hidden bolt that can catch you out.
