Bandit 1200 MK2 - What to do?

Hi guys.

So this Bandit 1200 sort of fell into my lap for cheap. Not sure what to do with it? Bike runs good.

I don't see many MK2's modified? Was thinking maybe a cafe racer?  I already have a 1999 MK1 and they seem to be the preferred model to modify.

I don't want to leave it as is. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Cheers

Paul

Get the forks sorted, re-valve, springs, fit a good aftermarket shock, lighter wheels etc but keep it looking stock(ish), fit a rack, maybe even bungee a sandwich box on it, wear a dayglo belt.

Then,

Tune the f**k out of it, bore kit, cams, head job, big flatslides and have fun scaring the sh*t out of sports bikes.
