clearance issue ...... try a slabside brake pedal  . if the slines are smaller you could cut off the kat spline shaft and weld in a slabby shaft ... then bush the frame mount for the smaller shaft . come to think of it.... the early teapots had similar brake pedals to the slabby ... you could check those too as an option .

Well would you believe it ?

Managed to keep the original pedal with fitting the aftermarket pegs and billet brackets that came with the bike , spaced out from the frame slightly. Adjusted the brake pedal pushrod to get the pedal level , just gotta make the bracket to hold the meg on.
