Completely don’t know how to connect that little thing. 8 pins, on wiring harness just 6 lines. Any help? Best solution is explain it to me like to biggest dummy in the world(drawing will be good). Because that looks like a mismatch. - What does the work shop manual say? If you don't have it: try this link might be the wrong year. Quote Link to comment

One pin for sure goes for grounding, maybe two. Don’t have the connectors, making wiring from scratch. That’s why I got the problem Quote Link to comment
Gixer1460 Posted July 15, 2020 Share Posted July 15, 2020 Well according to the manual - that CDI doesn't belong to that bike! GSX400E CDI has 6 pins (like a lot of Suzuki CDI's) and is case earthed / grounded. Quote Link to comment
