1994 Gsx1100f advice

Hi.

Going to look at a 1994 gsx1100f on friday, anything special to look out for? 

It has been in a slow speed tumble, just a indicator broken and some scratches on fering.

£1800, but will try to get it cheaper.

Sounds like a lot of money for a crashed one. Brilliant engines they do have though.

For that price I would expect 2 decent 1100f's and an extra parts bike 

Nice ones sell for under 1000 euro's, 

Ratted ones / damaged ones for 500. Both private sales and driveable.

At least here in the Netherlands.

Here in Norway a good one is £3-4000.

EF is from £1500 in ok condition.

You might be right. 

There is a nice one on the dutch marketplace.  (Www.marktplaats.nl) 

950 euro, 1997 and only 33.000km

Yes £1800 is way to much to pay, especially for a damage one. I'd be looking at - £ 800 in that price at least.

Grate motor, some would say the bike is a bit heavy, 16" front wheel so could be a bit twitchy, apart from that can't think of any bad points.

Only paid £400 for an '89 model a few years ago. Kept the motor,  'that site' got the rest
