Kush rubbers

do anyone have any experience with giving kush rubbers rubber lube?

To help the sprocket carrier slip on  ?    Can spray a bit of ACF50 on the cush rubbers, or wipe some synthetic grease on the s. carrier  engagement  sections - or between the rubbers. They don't need lube to work - in fact it's a bad idea to let them move more easily, you want them to lock into place.  Suzuki cush rubbers are pretty good, some other makes of the time  destroyed the rubbers in no time - zzr1100 was very good at this.

Just smear them all with petrol. They'll slide in nicely, petrol will evaporate. No sticky goo to attract dust.

All of my Suzuki cush rubbers have always been used dry and generally they wear really well. I had to replace the cush rubbers on a Yam I had every 6-7k. With those particular rubbers I found a little lithium grease reduced the wear rate by about 20%. As I say though, I have never had an issue with any of my Suzukis.

It was actually the wear i was thinking of. if they are lubed with a non rubber deteriorating grease the kush can work without grinding against other surfaces.

It has done easy sub 1000 miles, and showing wear because of rubbing. It can be of settling in, but now going on more than double power I'll try lube them up
