  1. Hi guys, I've just replaced the clutch with new oem. New parts include: Main clutch disk set (pn:2140040C01) 1x smaller clutch friction disk (pn:2144246E00) 1x tapered spring washer (pn:0916400007) 1x clutch pressure hub (pn:2146240C02) (old one was chewed up pretty bad) 1x thrust bearing (pn:0926315003) I'm guessing I might also need to change the clutch sleeve hub (pn:2141046E00) I'm guessing its probably glazed over. I didn't notice that it was chewed up, just mirror smooth. Would it be worth going at it with some 400/600 grit sandpaper? or bin in? Unfortunately its a $200 part After writing this... I've just realised I may have thrown out the clutch spring washer with the old pressure plate (pn:2162340C00)... Which is in the bin... and bin collection day... and now its gone... crap!
  2. Woot. Got the swingarm from show n go. really helpful mob. Good call on the chain adjusters too. sold separately... so would have forgotten them otherwise Can't wait
  3. cheers. Do I also need to buy the rear wheel also? Or just make new spacers? Because I kinf of just recently powder coated my rear wheel ^^;
  4. Vizman: bushwackers weren't interested in my creative plea... 36 more posts to go Gamma: Thanks mate. You wouldn't happen to know the name of the mob would you? Cheers
  5. Nice idea! Those will be much easier to find. Would there be much work getting it to fit? I have to admit though, the '95 swingarm is sexier though So which admin will i need to grovel to so I can look at the buy/sell section? 28 days left until the mrs takes over... so pressure is on to get this done haha
  6. Thanks guys. Just called a few of the local wreckers here in Sydney... and no luck. Apparently these are quite sort after. One of the largest wreckers here sold one not too long ago for $600 AUD... I know I don't have enough posts, but do you guys think if I ask admin nicely (pretty please) they can let me have access to the classified section? My wife is moving in from overseas in about a month, so I need to spend my cash and build this thing before she can stop me
  7. Hi guys, Re: swingarm swaps, is it worthwhile changing the banana style for a braced design? I have a '92/'93 750w. After a moderate stack with a cager, I've had the bike completely stripped. Frame and swingarm sand blasted. Unfortunately, the current arm has a bit of a gash from where the exhaust hit. I was going to polish it, but hasn't happened in 2 years. so gave up... so going to the powder coaters. So I guess I need to make up my mind. I don't have much of a clue as to what will bolt in or even if its a worthwhile upgrade... though I can't say I like the look of the banana arm. Though I'm a little worried I would have to replace all of the linkages or even the shock. Isn't a huge issue except it already has a nice ohlins damper. Cheers
