  1. I'm advising caution about spending ur hard earned money, seen bikes fitted up with the wrong gear many times from UK turbo gurus...... It's interesting to note, on the US forums bullshit is shot down in flames in short order.Thankfully you dont get big ego's surronding themselfs with sycohants, its not nice seeing the cock suckers worshipping / sucking off their guru's...... ( as was the case a few years ago on one UK forum )
  2. Just been looking on a US turbo forum, one post from bigcc racing , he shows a very impressive busa dyno reading. Then the other members point out that they could get a scooter to show the same readings..... Matey thought his post would be taken at face value.......... The point is this, don't take things at face value , don't assume products from the like of matey boy are what you need, they are after your money.........seen too many people buying stuff they don't need.......
  3. Its a Suzuki bike, yeah i know how bad for your health it is, & yes I know you can buy it good to go,. Just being a cheap ass, wanted to just top up pump petrol.......... BTW, unleaded has high benzine content, more than the leaded petrol in the old days. I've read that benzine is as bad if not worse the Lead........
  4. Yeah, & whilst your at it, give the bike a wash n polish, my good man...
  5. lead replacement products are not as good as they claim, I want high octain, the claims that are made are rather wish full thinking......
  6. has any one info about obtaining lead for adding to petrol?
  7. "5lb over stock", Thats why the gasket failed, the stock suzuki studs are a precision machined items, (unlike APE junk) torque as per Suzuki spec's no more, When you give them extra lb you exceed the design parameter's.` In my garage I have two oil cooled turbo bikes, one has std studs the other APE, guess which bike has a oil weep?, yep the APE head studs are the problem! Both bikes have been on the road some time, seeing up to 20psi, the APE studs will at some point be removed and chucked in the bin, utter garbage........
  8. My turbo bike on cast suzuki pistons, 18psi.
  9. I have stock suzuki cast pistons in my 1127 turbo bike, use up to 18psi.Its been on the road for years, never had it apart. It does does have a intercooler.... A good tune is the key to a healthy motor, forged pistons only give you a margin of safety, they won't last if the tune is off!
  10. With a PCV autotune. Start with a very (very) rich map and let it lean it as you ride it I started mine at 10s & eased it down to the required A/F....I also have a quality wide band gauge & data logger & knock sensor. No danger of me destroying the motor from detonation...... If you try rush things & try tune from a lean A/F (in terms of boost) then you could take out your motor. Look on a GSXR forum in the US, people seem to be doing just fine with the auto tune on a turbo bike.... I think its a fair statement to say that real road use tuning can be much better than on a dyno, I can tell you of several horror stories of so called experts with a dyno. One of which, likes to make out that he's the no1 tuner in the UK. Do you or your mate/s, run a dyno by any chance?
  11. I've installed a PC V & autotune on a turbo gsxr, It has taken a while to get it set up right, having contacted DynoJet UK on some tech' issues I found they where of no help at all. But I must say it does work very well when set up right, nice small units & easy to use software. Product 10/10, product support 0. With this kit it would be easy to fit a late model fuel injection to an earlier bike, the nice thing is you dont need dyno time to set it up. It could be said that real road use tuning is much better than on a dyno,
