  1. Hi if it helps I managed to extend a standard gsx600f swing arm by adding section of box tubing to the end of swing arm, so I could fit 5.5 rim (gsxr1100L) rear wheel and a 180 tyre, tight squeeze fit plus make up caliper hanger and adjustable tie Rod Rupe
  2. Hi ye all… I asked this same question a while back when I bought an insurance write off pile of junk and got it going again for a work hack but knowing me I can’t leave things alone….anyway I fabricated an extended a standard GSX600F swing arm to fit a 5.5 rim from Gsxr11 … made a calliper carrier and converted to under slung calliper with adjustable tie Rod so …yahoo better looking back end with 180 rubber…. When I find out how to down load pics I’ll show you!!! ….btw MERRY CHRISTMAS to you all ….great forum btw
  3. Haha thanks Daz that was just what I was thinking, gsx1100 me thinks prefer bigger lumps anyway
  4. Well thanks all for your ideas and advice, I have been checking engine spec and trolling internet for bits and found several gsx750f motors (thanks Upshotknothole) pretty cheap BUT last night while parked in my local B&Q and only in there for ten minutes some fucking scum bags nicked it!!!!! And police are hopeless….so back to square one TOTALLY GUTTED!!!….KEEP YOUR BIKES SAFE
  5. Ah brilliant I like these ideas, I knew joining this forum was a bad idea
  6. Thank you all!!!…I’m now thinking I should have got an 1100 (as I do prefer bigger lumps) but I should pull the rains in and stick to why I got it (work hack) and concentrate on up rating the front and back end…..but how easy does a 750 lump fit, use existing engine mounts , make new one?……..btw jugging by what I’ve seen of other peoples rides not sure I’ll post a pic of my buitsa scrap yard scratcher , maybe later…..
  7. Haha I kind of expected that reply …mmm now me thinking!!!
