  1. Thanks. It's same on gsx750e. So, this exhaust is from smaller bike.
  2. I needed to stretch 1 and 4 totally 30mm to make it fit. Huge difference. If someone gs1000 owner could take measurement from outer sides of downpipes 1 and 4. It can be done with metal ruler easily from bike. Why? If it's obviously not gs1000, i'll ask refund from seller.
  3. Nope, I'm not sure. It was sold as gs1000, but is it really such? I asked earlier, if someone could verify it, by dimensions on picture.
  4. I have, now. Not a chance, it would be easier to your own from straigh pipe.
  5. Hmm... 1 and 4 should be pushed totally about 20mm apart. Because of 4-2-1 structure, that would fix also problem with dimension difference between 1&2 and 2&4. Not exactly, but quite close. And I think I can stretch that 20mm and still have port-end of pipes perpendicular. BUT, after that 1 &4 and 2&3 are way out of line, see pic below, green line. And lining all of them AND keeping them perpendicular and same lenght can´t be done just pushing/pulling/bending. As fas as I understand. Heating and bending or cutting/tig welding? Anyways quite big job. Worth of it? Perhaps not. I don´t know, but I guess tolerance for pipes perpendicularity to ports is quite tight?
  6. Also, there's big difference between 1&2 and 3&4. So, as it is 4-2-1, its not suitable even for blank to be modified. Damm, lost money. Could someone verify this is GS1000 exhaust? See pic attached. Downpipes are 35mm.
  7. Blah, does not fit. Now distance between outer sides of downpipes 1&4 is about 35cm (I didn't remove it), and on this "new" it's only 33cm.
  8. Sorry if this goes to offtopic, but it´s related to previous: I have gsx 750e, aircooled as you know, and there´s oil temperature gauge. But it´s not working. Measured sensor, it´s giving me correct resistance, so problem is wiring or gauge itself. But as far as I understand, I don´t miss anything, because I don´t know oil temp? I live in Finland, somedays it may be +30C, but normally 10-20C. And I drive very easy, would say like pussycat
  9. Ok, just called seller and bought it. We'll see later how it fits.
  10. Hello. After some searching from site, I understand that GS1000 exhaust would fit to GS1000E? Which makes me believe it would also fit to my GSX750E? Minor modifications are not problem. If they fit, any ideas how does such swap affect to engine performance? Is it possible I need do some jetting etc? Which I absolutely don't want.. I have now "working" aftermarket 4-1, but it's rusty, allready patched sometimes and sounds quite bad, I think theres not much material left inside. I could get this kind of GS1000 exhaust for reasonable price, thats why I'm interested
