  1. This is the tread where I got information: https://www.thegsresources.com/_forum/forum/technical-forums/performance-tuning-mods/13339-carb-swap and why bought the carbs in the first place. It is an old tread on other forum, I will to try to get some information from the guy who posted this.
  2. Hello again, i am looking to switch to Marving 4in1 exhaust system. I drive GSX1100ES 1983 model. I was wondering if any of you have experience with changing to RF900 carbs on these machines. I found one tread on internet and got encouraged to try it. I had luck with finding a decent set od carbs for 60$. I understand that they need service and jet upgrade but does anyone have experience with putting these on GSX1100? My biggest concern is if existing rubbers fit the RF carbs. I would rather ask before I dismantle half of the bike to find out. thanks!
  3. Hello everyone, i have a GSX1100ES that l last year updated with bigger set of wheels and bandit forks. My project for this year is to get to 4 in 2 in 1 system on the bike and some nice silencer. I found some cheap yoshimura pipes on the internet that are from GSXR1100 oil cooled, and was wondering if they fit GSX1100? Here are some pictures Thanks
  4. Did you use stock sprocket carrier or one from the new wheel? I am starting my adventure next week.
  5. I have 17" wheels from '89 GSXR 750, hopefully its a match. Do you have any knowledge on weather machining the sprockets with that small offset and a drilled space for lock washer is any good? Comparing durability and strength to one bought in a store. I did a little research and there are few companies here that make sprockets really cheap. Maybe it would save me from hustle to just order a few of them.
  6. Thank you all for the information. Hopefully I will work something out.
  7. Hi All, I am looking for an answer on upgrading the rear wheel on my GSX1100ES. I got front forks and wheels from GSXR 750 '89. I managed to find enough information on front end. However I cant seem to find enough information on rear end swap, to keep me confident I should go with this. I am from Serbia and I don't have very easy access to spare parts nor to any custom parts. While doing my research on this topic I didn't find a lot information on weather offset sprockets are necessary to use when converting to a 4.5" rim. And if they are what is the most common size that is used. Any knowledge on this topic would be appreciated. Thank you.
