  1. There's a used one on Maarktplaats in Holland. It's been on there since December so you might get it cheaper. Here.
  2. Having searched the forum and.info and much of the Internet for the past week or so I still find myself confused and in need of assistance. I'm looking to stick a 17" front wheel in the gsxr1100 W? USD forks on my ET in place of the 19" in there at the moment. It's fitted with brand new EBC md1153x discs and I'm hoping I can get a particular wheel that allows me to use these as I can do without the expense of buying others. The md1153x discs seem to be specced for 2004/2005 CBR 1000rr (girlsblouse?) Fireplace according to a few sites : Found here The discs by my measurements are 310 mm, 5mm thick. From the inside face of the disc to the wheel mounting face seems to me to be 5mm. It's this bit that throws a spanner in the works for me. Is there a wheel that will take this "offset" disc rather than just a "flat" one? The distance between the inside faces of both discs seems to be 125mm. The German website above says the "offset" is 12.7mm whatever that relates to?? I know from reading on here that to fit some wheel /disc combos I might need spacers on the calipers. I'd rather avoid doing that if I can. Would you say I'm pretty safe with a B12 wheel in there? GSXR? Any year? Any one in particular? Any to definitely not get? Advice gratefully accepted. Ta.
  3. Thanks for the help Joseph and Slabby11. Both correct ta.
  4. Cheers, I'll do that ta.
  5. It seems I might get this in my garage at home on Saturday but thought I'd ask my first question (maybe the first of many) before I can take measurements to narrow things down. I'm looking to swap out the clip-ons for some Renthals and I'm considering either drilling this existing yoke to take the clamps if there's enough meat in the correct places to do so but I think I'd rather source another top yolk that will do the job. I've looked online to try and establish what this yoke's off but can't and I've run out of guesses. I can find a 600srad yoke that looks similar but the clamping bolts are at the wrong angle. Any guesses? Suggestions? They're usd forks
  6. Thanks Blubber, it did get another price drop. Just got to get it here now, then I can see whether it's what I expect of it but I intend to enjoy myself finding out.
  7. It seems I've gone and bought myself this half way there 1100 ET as my first project for 25 years. It's a long way away because it's in Holland and I need to get it over here somehow but I do have a bit of time to get it out of where it is now. Things I don't like and will deal with at various times: The colour will be changed to something much more dark with (probably) orange decals and I'll extend the frame rails slightly as I'm not that happy where the tail-light ends. It's a bit too short but it might grow on me (no, not literally). The rest will be fairly derivative of non standard ETs on OSS. There will be quite likely nothing new to see here. Under cover of darkness I'll wheel it out of the van (hopefully) and into my garage before dealing with: That gopping exhaust wrap. Not for me in the slightest thanks, nor the dropped bars. I like my bikes loud and proud and out of main stream fashion. Anyhow, I'm going to need some parts as soon as I can figure out a way to get it over here.
