I have a 1980 gs 1000s that I'm working on.....I have power on the black/yellow wire at all times withe the key on. Where should I look for a short or it back feeding? Thanks in advance.

I have a 1980 Gs1000s that has no spark on cylinders 2 and 3. I have power on the orange/white wires to the coils but the black/ yellow wire also has power. If I disconnect the wire I lose power to the black/ yellow wire. I only have spark on the #1 and #4 when I take my finger off of the start button. All help is appreciated. Thanks in advance!
