Which 750 cases? I have no personal experience with such, however Frankenstein’s guide specifically talks about 1052 crank fitting into 748 cases.

What is the exact text of the advisory? If it's 'slight fluctuation' of the disc(s) then it means they are slightly warped and a pulsing may be felt through the lever. Only if it gets worse will it become a failure, then you'll need new discs (and of course pads).
