thanks for the help guys, will do some more testing this evening and let you know the results, will also let you know what battery is on it as i can't remember.

my mate has one of them, i'll see if i can borrow it. yes its an older battery, prior to fitting it was on an optimate for quite a while but a good state of charge.

I have a multimeter but auto eleca isnt my striny point without guidence as to what to.set the meter to if that makes sence.

I do appolgise for spelling and typos, i have no sensation in my right thumb so always the wrong letter on my phone.

May be a dumb question, byt doea anyone know what the acceptable charging voltages are for a 600 srad? On idle mine is 14.3V and with the revs up it 12.8V Thank you in advance.
